Kitaab Exchange connects buyers and sellers of used school textbooks, university books, novels and stationery in Karachi. We do not own, inspect or guarantee any item listed. The deal is between the buyer and the seller.
You must give accurate information and keep your login secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. You must be old enough to use the app under the law where you live, and in any case at least 13.
You are responsible for the accuracy of your listings: condition, price and description must be honest. Listing counterfeit, pirated, stolen or illegal material is prohibited and leads to an immediate ban.
Inspect an item before paying. Kitaab Exchange does not take or hold payments between buyers and sellers and is not responsible for the outcome of any deal. Meet in public places and follow the safety tips in the app.
Harassment, scams, fake listings, impersonation, sharing personal details in chat, abusing rewards, and circumventing our review process are prohibited and are grounds for a permanent ban without refund of any membership fee.
Your public identity is your display code. Optional CNIC verification only confirms you are a real person and reduces fraud. See our Privacy Policy.
Membership fees are non-refundable once activated. Wallet rewards and bonuses are promotional, may be changed or stopped at any time, and can be withheld or reversed where we find abuse. Withdrawals are subject to the minimum amount and processing times shown in the app.
You keep ownership of what you post, and you give us permission to display it in the app and to promote it, for example on our website and Facebook Page. You promise you have the right to post it.
We may suspend or ban accounts that break these terms. You can delete your account at any time — see Account & Data Deletion.
The app is provided as is. To the extent allowed by law, Kitaab Exchange is not liable for losses from deals between users, for items listed, or for downtime.
We may update these terms. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept it.
